[singlepic id=11 w=320 h=240 float=right]The Combat Identfication System of Systems tool implements over 50 Measures (MOEs/MOPs/KPPs) to assess the effectiveness of different combat ID annd ISR systems and their utility in a system of system’s concept. The tool evaluates these measures over realistic terrain, system laydowns, and under Line of Sight (LOS), Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS), and Non-Line of Sight (NLOS) engagement geometries. All other engagements are also supported including Air-to-Ground, Ground-to-Air, Air-to-Air, and Ground-to-Ground. RNI personnel have been supporting Combat Idenfication systems since their inception including:

  • Over 20 years in RF/EO combat identification system design, development and specification support to US Army
  • TWG member for development of Standard Agreements (STANAG) for message interoperability with NATO partners
  • Analysis of alternatives of CID and RFID id systems (AG, GG, GA, AA)[singlepic id=30 w=320 h=240 float=right]
  • FCS Integration Support (FIST) Team member for concept identifications and vetting alternatives
  • Measures of performance and effectiveness defined (MOP/MOE) for CID and SA systems
  • Test plan and Data analysis of CID system in Coalition Combat ID Advanced Concept Technology Demonstrations (CCID-ACTD)
  • Battlefield Identification Environment and Performance Simulator developer (BISEPS) for vetting environment impact on Point to Point and Area broadcast systems
  • Member of numerous evaluation boards (SSEB, TWG, FIST, etc) in support of operational concepts, requirements developments, and test and evaluation
